Where does the training take place?
Most of my clients are directly from Anchorage or the surrounding areas. During the winter months we typically meet at The Dome. During the spring and summer months we meet at various locations. APU trails, Upper Hillside trails, Kincaid Park, Lower Hillside off of Elmore to name a few.
Do I work with all ages and levels of ability?
Simply put, YES! I enjoy helping runners of all ability levels.
Why should I spend money on a personal coach? I can do it by myself.
Of course, you can train alone, but I have years of experience working with all age groups and abilities. I have competed at the highest levels myself, but more importantly, I have spent many years developing my very unique and highly successful training program. In addition, I am your advisor. I can keep you on the right track to peak performance. It is essential to have someone who can supervise your training and provide valuable feedback such as when you need to rest, when you need to work harder, when and how to introduce specific training into your regimen, etc. The best athletes in the world hire coaches.
How often do I have to or can I train with you?
That is entirely up to you and depends on the amount of time you have and how committed you are. Usually, I train with my clients as often as 3 times per week.
